€69
The madder-red check of Rouen’s historic textiles, woven in linen and cotton: the tablecloth for long tables.

A red that comes from Rouen
In the 18th and 19th centuries, Rouen wove “rouenneries”: striped and checked cottons dyed with madder, the plant that gave red. Our tablecloth revisits that check, woven from yarn-dyed threads in a linen and cotton blend that makes it sturdy and easy to wash.
The 1 cm check hides everyday stains and warms up a table set with pale stoneware. It goes in the machine at 60 °C: this is a tablecloth for serving, not for staying in the cupboard.
