Thrown one by one
Camille throws our bowls at the workshop, in a Loire Valley stoneware fired at 1,280 °C. At that temperature the clay vitrifies: the bowl becomes watertight and chip-resistant, and goes in the dishwasher and microwave without a worry.
Each bowl is slightly different: the rim waves a little, the glaze runs more or less down towards the bare foot. These small variations are what show a bowl was made by hand. Three glazes: chalk, celadon and peat.
